New In #16: Bits & Bobs & Samples

There has NOT been a proper-non-swap New In since March! March!

I can hardly believe it myself, to be honest. Well yes, there was a Skincare Update, as well as new accessories (yes, fahsion, on my blog! I know…) but there have barely been any purchases since my swap. But, as always, bits and bots pile up somehow, including some interesting press samples that had landed on my doorstep. So, I’m here to not show everything but the things that I found most exciting or deem most interesting for you, like new products or sale purchases. 🙂

In this perspective, all the goodies short and sweet – if anyone is interested in in-depths reviews, just leave me a comment.

KIKO

Did you know KIKO opened a new shop in the PlusCity shopping centre in Pasching?

Well, I didn’t either. Not too be blogger-snobbish but since KIKO cultivates their blogger relations nicely in Germany, it took me by surprise that they didn’t even send out a press release! I read about the new shop on Facebook and obviously went there the following days to take advantage of the ongoing sale 🙂

Since I could always go on a shopping spree in KIKO it took some inner reasoning not to this time:

All of the Boulevard Rock LE is on sale and so I got the Rock Attraction Blush in Sound Coral, probably not the most unique colour, but incredibly soft and that intricate imprint is just lovely. I would have loved to geht the highlighting shade too but well. Reduced to 6€ now.
The Cupcake Nail Lacquer are also on sale, I picked the colour Mint. Sadly not as speckled as I had hoped, even with top coat pretty rough. About 2€.
No sale bargain but since I have had such great experiences with the Long Lasting Stick Eyeshadows I finally caved and bought the shade Golden Mauve | 6,90€

Manhattan

Along with other brands Manhattan also came out with new products, new colours recently:

Lips2Last 43H – Sadly no shade name, but I love it nonetheless! Why didn’t I notice this sooner? These liquid lipstick+gloss combos usually last for ages and that is the case here as well. The colour, a bright coral, looks lovely now in summer time as well. | 7,49€
Kohl Kajal Nude Couture – Finally another drugstore brand releasing a nude kajal! I guess a comparison with others is in order. | ca. 2€
2in1 Concealer + Fixing Powder Sand – I have been wanting to try this concealer, mainly due to its consistency. I am not too sure about the colour, though, it might work for blemishes on the face not so much for brightening under the eyes. | 5,99€
Clearface Concealer Vanilla – Surprisingly light, it might even match me blended it, but way creamier than the 2in1. Best for dry skin I assume. | ca. 3€

Isadora

News from Isadora:

I really like the look of the Gel Eyeliner from the Sunset in Rio LE in the colour Turquoise. You’ll see in the swatch below just how nice it looks on the skin. | 14,95€
The same limited edition also contains this shimmer nail varnish called Ipanema Beach – can be worn alone or as top coat. | 9,95€
Isadora is also dabbling into the Gel Nail Lacquers, I got Iced Coffee (11,95€) here and applying the very glossy Gel Nail Topcoat (11,95€) on top, it looks thicker and apparently lasts longer as well. Interesting.

essence

Since I like the black essence Gel Eye Pencil so much, I know bought the shades Cocoa Bean, und Urban Jungle (2,25€) as well. Cocoa Bean is matte, which is why I intend using it on the waterline as well. The green shade reminds me of an older version of the Zoeva Graphic Eyes pencil, I wish, there was a smokey purple shade as well.
The new Precise Eyeliner Pinsel (1,45€) seems like a better version of the old eyeliner pencil, shorter bristles and all.
Even though the Blending Brush (1,49€) gets torn reviews, I had to try it since you barely find such a cheap blending brush.

Due to the ongoing offer I also bought the Studio Blush in Blushing Rose (£3.95), quite overexposed on the picture. But I think I will review all of the elf stuff in another post soon!

The L’Oréal True Match (ger: Perfect Match) Foundation is probably one of the few make ups that actually offers a wide variety of shades – just not in our drugstores! It’s available in cool, warm and neutral tones, I found the lightest neutral N1 Ivory in the UK, another Foundation Friday is in the making! | £9.99 (£6.99 in Tesco!)
Absolute Douglas ABSOLUTE Nails Summer Affair Nr. 38 – is a fabulous bright Coral. It looks rather pink in natural light, more orange indoors. And it lasted almost a full week on me! You can see it in this post: Mascara Monday #1 | 4,95€
Yves Rocher Liquid Eyeliner “Saphir” – This eyeliner was a nice surprise. I didn’t think much of it but the blue is beautiful and it dries matte! | 7,50€
Ardell Demi Wispies Black – Yes, I snatched up quite the bargain in TK Maxx and bought two backups. I do see why they are so insanely popular, I have used them in my Nachgeschminkt post for example. The other lashes are more dramatic and look fairly nice for £1 Primark lashes.

So, I didn’t spend that much at all. I actually saved on most products due to sales! What do you think of KIKO? Did you check out the sales?

Seit März gab es kein richtiges non-swap Deko-New In mehr.

Ist das zu fassen. Dazwischen gab es Updates hinsichtlich Skincare oder auch Accessoires (ja, bei mir! Fashion und so!) aber seit dem Swap eigentlich keine Einkäufe…es haben sich in diesen Monaten natürlich Kleinigkeiten angesammelt, auch hinsichtlich interessante Muster. Ich zeige nicht absolut alles, lediglich die Dinge, die mich am meisten begeistert haben bzw. auch für euch interessant sein könnten, neue Produkte, Sale usw 🙂

Deshalb heute mal relativ kurz und bündig, vornehmlich Bilder – in-depth Reviews auf Wunsch natürlich möglich, ihr dürft gerne kommentieren, auch wenn die halbe Leserschaft noch im WM-Freudentaumel schwebt hehe.

KIKO

Habt ihr gewusst, dass KIKO einen neuen Shop in der PlusCity in Pasching aufgemacht hat?

Ich auch nicht. Nicht, dass ich es hochnäsig erwarten würde, aber da KIKO in Deutschland gute Blogger Relations pflegt, hat es mich überrascht, dass es in Österreich nicht mal eine Pressemitteilung gab! Ich habe es auf Facebook gelesen und bin dann auch die nächsten Tage gleich hin, den Shop begutachten und Sale ausnutzen 🙂

Bei KIKO könnte ich immer wieder in einen kleinen Kaufrausch verfallen, aber ich habe mich brav auf ein paar Stücke beschränkt:

Aus dem Sale der Boulevard Rock LE habe ich das Rock Attraction Blush in Sound Coral gekauft, sicherlich eine recht oft gesehene Farbe, aber so zart und die tolle Prägung! Ich hätte unglaublich gerne noch die Highlighterfarbe mitgenommen, aber meine Vernunft hat doch gesiegt. Es gibt die Blushes übrigens jetzt für 6€!
Ebenfalls im Sale: Die Cupcake Nail Lacquer, bei denen ich Mint mitgenommen habe. Leider nicht so speckled wie ich erhofft hatte, auch mit Top Coat noch recht rau. Um die 2.
Aus dem Sortiment, ganz ohne Sale, habe ich mir nach den guten Erfahrungen mit den Long Lasting Stick Eyeshadows endlich die Farbe Golden Mauve gegönnt. | 6,90€

Manhattan

Bei Manhattan gib es zur Zeit einige neue Produkte bzw. neue Farben von Produkten:

Lips2Last 43H – leider ohne Farbname, oder ich habe es übersehen, und ich find die toll! Wieso hab ich sie nicht früher entdeckt? Dieser longlasting Lippenstift wird als Farbe + Gloss aufgetragen und meine Güte, das hält! Die Farbe, ein kräftiges Korall passt super in den Sommer. | 7,49€
Kohl Kajal Nude Couture – Endlich auch bei Manhattan ein Nude Ton zu finden, es steht ein Vergleich mit meinen anderen Nude Stiften an! | ca. 2€
2in1 Concealer + Fixing Powder Sand – Wollte ich mir schon länger kaufen: Konsistenz super, farblich bin ich mir noch nicht sicher. Für mich wohl unter den Augen nicht hell genug, wird jetzt mal im Gesicht probiert. | 5,99€
Clearface Concealer Vanilla – Schön hell, könnte sogar passen, etwas cremiger…vielleicht an meinen sehr trocknen Hauttagen gar nicht verkehrt…| ca. 3€

Isadora

Von Isadora gibt es auch wieder Neues:

Besonders gut gefällt mir der Gel Eyeliner aus der Sunset in Rio LE in der Farbe Turquoise. Im Swatch weiter unten werdet ihr sehen, wie toll der auf der Haut aussieht! | 14,95€
In der selben LE gibt es einen Schimmer-Glimmer Lack namens Ipanema Beach – solo zu tragen oder auch als Effekt, da beige-gold. | 9,95€
Außerdem setzt jetzt auch Isadora auf den Gel Look: Es gibt Gel Nail Lacquers, hier zB den schönen Taupe Ton Iced Coffee (11,95€) und geht nach dem Antrocknen mit dem sehr glossigen Gel Nail Topcoat (11,95€) darüber, der den Lack insgesamt “dicker” erscheinen lässt und damit auch länger haltbar. Ich bin gespannt 🙂

essence

Nachdem ich von dem schwarzen essence Gel Eye Pencil so begeistert war, habe ich mir bei Müller nun endlich noch den braunen Ton, Cocoa Bean, und Urban Jungle (2,25€) gekauft. Cocoa Bean ist matt und wird bei der tollen Haltbarkeit sicherlich auf der Wasserlinie zum Einsatz kommen. Der grüne Ton erinnert mich an den alten Zoeva Graphic Eyes Stift, gleitet auch so gut – ich wünschte, es gäbe noch ein rauchiges, mattes Violett!
Den Eyeliner Pinsel (1,45€) gibt es nun als “precise eyeliner brush” besser als die alte Version! Der Pinsel ist schmäler, die Borsten kürzer.
Der Blending Brush (1,49€) musste auch sein, da es kaum Blender in der Drogerie gibt. First impression: Gut! Möchte mir jetzt aber noch den Blender von ebelin anschauen. ~~Wenn ich’s mal nicht vergesse…~~
Außerdem noch überbelichtet auf dem Bild der Duo Pencil aus der Bloom Me Up LE, ich liebe solche Nude Stifte für Augenbrauen und Wasserlinie, im Abverkauf unwiderstehlich.

Bei elf habe ich den -50% Sale auf alles plus Versandkostenfreiheit genutzt und endlich endlich, nach ewigem Nachschauen, die drei Studio Pinsel erwischt:

Durch die starke Reduzierung habe ich mir noch das Studio Blush in Blushing Rose (£3.95) dazu genommen, das hier auf dem Bild leider viel heller aussieht…aber ich denke, zu diesen Produkten hier schreibe ich nochmal gesondert.
